This year’s theme for Mental Health Awareness Week (18th – 24th May) is kindness.
Evidence suggests that acts of kindness can help reduce stress, increase happiness and boost self-esteem.
Kindness during the coronavirus pandemic
We might all agree that kindness is the thread that is keeping all of humanity together during this pandemic.
From the selfless service of key workers, to the 750,000 volunteers to the NHS and the commendable fundraising efforts of Captain Tom Moore – these acts of kindness have helped us to build resistance as a community while reinforcing the meaning of the words ‘In this together’.
An act of kindness – brighten up someone’s day!
We’ve created 3 free e-cards to help you share a message of kindness with friends and family during this year’s Mental Health Awareness Week.
